Today as I was walking home, it seemed as if a storm was going to come in. It was just past 4:00 and the clouds were heavy and dark. There was a little wind that was making the orange and tan leaves swirl around the trees.
And then the Carillon began playing a song in a minor key. It was a very eerie walk, but not in a creepy or scary way. More in a mysterious and wild way.
It was raining, just a little, by the time I got home. I've been waiting all evening for the storm to come (and now I've missed actually posting on the 7th for Nano because for some reason I can't sleep). It hasn't come. Just a little rain before it left. And the air is heavy and hot and humid -- gone is the cold from last week that had me running my heater and wearing my snow boots.
